Is there any chance of the BBC virgin of this game its not the same with out it

Garry Wood says:

I was at the game 20 feet from the Denis law 'goal ' and it was clearly over the line . We were robbed I'm afraid but what an atmosphere the loudest at old Trafford in my 50 years. Denis never played in a European cup final sadly.

Steve Haw says:

Was there that night. Incredible atmosphere. Judging by other comments, many people remember that.
The United players must have been hurting badly, but still applauded their opponents off. Those were the days.

Garry Wood says:

I was at old Trafford that night within 25 feet of the goal and it was clearly over the line. Great atmosphere we at least deserved extra time. Best was outstanding that night you just don't get that kind of atmosphere anymore anywhere.

Torowe1 says:

wow the United players applauding Milan off the pitch at the end …. don't see much of that today … !!

derek latham says:

that bloke in the stretford end at 1.47 with a motorbike helmet on

RDX81 says:

1.47.06 – 1.47.54 Fair Play at his best ! just great

coalseamwig says:

Denis Law made it 2-0 but only the ref and the linesman failed to see the ball clearly over the line. A fix perhaps, or just ineptitude?

Jean Ditou says:

fort ce Charlton

Emmanuel C. says:

Il y avait aussi du beau monde à Milan : Rivera, Prati, Schnelinger

Omar Tayyab says:

DonQwantsyou says:

ac Milan have more international trophies than anyone motherfuckers

Massimo Ori says:

What can i say? i wanna ask  you, master of football, the reason why the goal of Hamrin hasn't been given ( minute 16.04 ) and in the second case everybody can see that the ball hasn't  passed the goal line ( the French commentator too )….I wanna also ask to Mr.GerryMATWS  what prove do you have the AC MILAN is a serial cheater?, are you talking about some telephone calls that everyone has made? and probably ( not only in Italy ) others club has doing that,,, i can remember for example that we've lost a Champions League against Marseille, a doping team, thanks to a corrupted refree ( the same thing happened to Glasgow Rangers in semi-final ) or we can talk about Mr.Mejuto Gonzales that give a penalty against Milan for a "dive" of Gerrard or we can talk about a  regular goal of Shevchenko disallowed in semi-final in Barcelona.. what are we talking about? is there someone here can say that the 7 ( seven ) Champions Leagues hasn't been won in a regular way? are you forgetten Milan Real 5-0? Milan Steaua 4-0 Milan Barcelona 4-0 Milan Ajax 4-1 Milan – United 3-0? Which episode do you remeber where we have cheat a match? PS Carlo Sartori you're clearly an INTER fan..

Eric Towser says:

A.C Milan went on to deservedly win the cup that year and nobody can suggest otherwise. Nothing doing with this ageing united squad who had become smug and complacent after winning the previous year. Nice to see the good old days before European football became inundated with Negroes which is why I stopped watching the game.

marco di felice says:

Goal di hamrin perfettamente regolare…ingiustamente annullato…minuto 16.04

Da Undaground Mane says:

video is shaky bro.

Fabian Schlabrendorf says:

Thanks for uploading also from Italy; but why don't you show the first leg too? Afraid of anything you English that always believe of being right?

BlackCrowNavajo says:

don't be the victim of media, my friend. Football is corrupt everywhere nowadays. From Korea to Chile. Only, in Italy they still have law-enforcement and justice strong enough to disclose and punish the guilty no matter how authoritative. What, you think Brazilian or Portugese or Greek or Beligian footballs are immaculate and transparent just because we don't hear the news from their media about bribery and match-fixing?

GerryMATW says:

I'm not English so I couldn't care less that England only won one World Cup. What I do care very much about is corruption. Italian football has a long, disgraceful history of match-fixing and that's why I dislike it.
You speak of winning 4 World Cups as if you believe that the end justifies the means. It doesn't. It merely shows that you are proud of something which honest people would be ashamed of.
Calciopoli makes it very hard to believe that any Italian team EVER wins fairly.

Alex Ialenti says:

Do u dislike italian football? Italy won 4 world cups…England won only one world cup…ahahahahah

Dontellthewifelol says:

Several suits bought in that period for match officials, how good were the suits.lol

GerryMATW says:

I strongly dislike AC Milan, and Italian football in general, but it has to be admitted that they won the 1969 EC the hard way.
They eliminated Celtic, the 1967 winners, in the Q/F then Manchester Utd, the holders, in the S/F. In the final they annihilated Cruyff's Ajax side which would go on to win 3 of the next 4 European Cups.
It's just a pity that no Italian success can ever be taken at face value, especially when it involves either AC Milan or Juventus, both proven to be serial cheats.

TheCosmicFunker says:

In those days the home team changed to their second strip mate.

I can't remember when it changed but the second kit wasn't referred to as the away strip back then, because, as I said in the event of a clash, the home team changed.

a4d7b4b57fs6 says:

More a case of english teams and officials didnt cheat. Not that your comments would be taken seriously with your username. No doubt you have a scottish background.
Or maybe an Italian background, whose teams have always been involved in bribery and corruption, which has been proved on numerous occasions.

DuderinoDeux says:

YEAH Robbed by that Turkish git.

carlo satori says:

I was there that night, the atmosphere was incredible UNITED UNITED. I was in the Stretford End Paddock. Cudicini's dad was in goal for AC Milan . At beginning of the second half time coins were being thrown at him . Charlton was fantastic such a shame we didnt get through . Robbed by the ref . That ball was over the line. It was nights like this that remain with me 44 years on.
Oh Walter it was was Fitzpatrick not Fitzgerald -think hes a wine importer in Scotland

UNITED UNITED

Walter Cairns says:

hamrin was the villain of the piece in the first leg, had Fitzgerald sent off, probably spat in his face
