FC Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde has welcomed new signing Arturo Vidal’s ‘energy’ and ‘presence’, at a press conference in California’s Santa Clara on Friday.
“He is a player with a lot of experience and a proven quality. He has a very good numbers with all the teams that he has worked,” complemented Valverde.
The Chile has signed on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
The Spanish club will face Italian footballing giants AC Milan at Levi’s Stadium on August 4 as part of the International Champions Cup 2018.
The tournament is taking place from 20 July to 12 August 2018.
