I played essien 23 times in my ac milan career and he got a 7.4 rating avg. and scired 5 goals essien is a beast as a box to box but only for 3 years

I've just finished my first year with Milan. Finished 3rd so champions league spot. In January I signed konoplyanka from Dnipro for 1.1m as his contract was expiring, Amazing player. Things to watch out for is in 1 season de Jong got sent off 6 times. Great player but when he picks up a yellow I generally look to take him off now. So that's something to consider

I think you might want to switch the highlight mode to "Comprehensive". It would show more highlights that will help you actually see how the game is progressing. It helps you pick up on trends to come up with more efficient tactical tweaks during games. Last but not least, you will never get one of those games where no highlight is shown for an entire half lol.

On my second season with Milan on fm15 I got 4th in the 1st season and a £30 million budget.

I think you made a mistake changes your tactics to more direct. With an extra man, the short passing and retaining possession would have capitalised best in my opinion and playing long balls (direct passing) is generally what you, or I would play, when I have a man down or am a weaker team. Just my opinion and advice anyway 😛
