Transfer window was average at best. With Wan-Bissaka being the stand out signing. Should've got in either Bruno Fernandes or Hakim Ziyech or both.
United had a reported budget of 250m£. Spent only 150m£ on 3 players and recouped ~70m£ on Lukaku. That leaves the board with 170m£. For that Fernandes(75m£~)/Ziyech(35m£) and Ndidi/Partey(60m£) wouldve been ideal and helped make the team title challengers.
My question is where did that money go if not to improve the team? Did Woodward roll it up and shove it where the sun don't shine?
