As soon as the kids came on,(or was it when Matic went off?), everything became faster, more urgent, more fluid and much more precise. The movement all over the field was more intense and the passes so much crisper. It was as if someone had thrown a switch. McTominay was totally transformed, and was back to being the revelation of pre-season.

Very poor first half Matic no touch Mata needs to be facing opposition to be affective, the second half much better but that’s down to the younger players wanting to start for united ..Axel needs to play as he’s so calm on the ball, Gomes must play a part of most games and Greeenwood needs to be part of match day squads …we won’t be able to play the pressing game with old legs , just one more thought if Pogba doesn’t want to be at United sell him and buy Savic he won give ball away in dangerous areas as much …If we can get him Fernandes would be a great link between defence and attack has the skill to run and go past players ..
Can't be having that from "Mr Positive guy". If a defense made a team, we're probably up there with the best when McGuire arrives which is a massive change from last season but now the spotlight is now firmly on the midfield and without Pogba it's a the worst and even with him it's sub-standard and we better get a midfielder in before the deadline or we'll struggle to make 6th let alone top 4.
