Regarding the signing of Zapata, if you buy him then Napoli will get it and you will lose your backup striker who is now a player that has shown that he can contribute to your first team without a problem.
Maybe your new striker can gel with your team right away, maybe he won't, I would not risk it specially with that future fee which will be very affordable for you. Also, what will happen if you get a good offer for Destro? He is definitely one of the better strikers in the world in your save.
I don't understand why you've started an improving Australian football save when you are only doing FM15 for another 5 weeks. Where do you expect to get in that save in 5 weeks? Season 2?

Judging by the stats of that Madrid v Man U 2nd leg, Man U were pretty lucky to get through. I think you'll dominate in possession and chances, just as Madrid did, except your attacking players are deadly enough to score them.
You should make the save downloadable when you finish the series.

You could put Zapata as 3rd choice striker. I think Unal would need at least a season to adjust to Seria A. Zapata would be there to at least score when you need him in situations wherein you go deep again in the CL and Destro needs to be rested.
With my training I always leave my match training on attacking movement and never change it but with my general training I change it each week by going in order and that has worked for me
