United defeat AC Milan on penalties after a 2-2 draw in Cardiff as the Reds unbeaten pre-season continues.
Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard were on the scoresheet but it was the youngsters Dan James, Angel Gomes and Mason Greenwood who were the stars of the penalties.

Makes me laugh when people say need a new CB just buy one then when we get one they say we have payed way too much for him lol
We really need an all action all round midfielder as Fred hasn't proved himself yet and who knows if he can and mctominay has looked good but he needs support and pogba is more of an attacking player so Scott can be left isolated at times and to get best out of Pogba we need another Midfielder to supplement him.
Thomas Partey would be perfect for this, as he would add pace, agggresion, tenacity, creativity and would support mctominay and support pogba in terms of creativity from Midfield. If we don't sign him or someone else who can do that job then we will have to rely on Fred or even Fosu Mensah who is a very promising player that deserves a chance this season.
If we sign dybala I wanna us to try 352 with Dan James as an attacking left wing back as he provides width and puts in good crosses and works hard by tracking back and pressing, wan Bissaka right wing back and a three man Midfield to supplement pogba with mctominay and Fred partnering him with dybala as a second striker alongside martial/Rashford. Back 3 would include Maguire as the central centre back and tuanzebe and lindelof as the other CBS.
Decent editing
It was painfully obvious from last nights game that we are woefully short of quality in our midfield and unless we strengthen in this department the defence will be left exposed and the ball will not get to the forwards quickly enough ( as in the last few seasons), we are too reliant on Pogba and if he leaves we are in big trouble . We lack a playmaker and a good defensive midfielder . The only good points about last night were the performances of the kids which were very promising, James is a long way off being the finished article, but our coaching staff should improve that , but Rashford and Martial need to work hard on their passing, especially in the box. Let`s hope we can get some signings done before the window closes.
