if our transfer strategy has to rely on the Chinese takeover. by the time they conclude the deal it would be too late. And what if the deal don't materialize eventually ? it would be another disaster season for us.
Idk about you guys but I feel like Milan should go after Roberto pereyra he is a good cam that we could use but he had a bad season and juve r looking to sell him
saponara is a great player but i believe that his biggest problem was that he couldnt preform at 100% under the pressure he had at milan. Milan is a team that is expected to get a podium finish every season and if the results arent going their way throughout the season, players get put under lots of preasure. At empoli he can enjoy his football because there is no huge expectation at empoli. Their goal is to avoid relegation not aim for europe every year. Thats also a reason y players like bertolacci, cerci, poli and many more cant perform when they play for milan. They r used to playing for clubs that consider anything above midtable finish an over achievement. they r not used to pressure. It sucks to see milan in the situation its in but this is what happens when a team doesnt try to find quality replacements for their stars before they leave. Since rui costa left the club we have always failed to find a quality replacement for players. It wasnt noticable then because we had some amazing players but it was starting to get noticable when sheva left. They sold the best stuker in the world at the time and replaced him fucking oliveira who no one even knew. Even though shevas exit was not felt as much it was only because we had kaka. We found shevas replacement 4 years after when we got ibra. If milan had looked at finding good players since 2007 we wouldnt be in the situation we r in now. After we won champions league, Instead of looking for replacement for seedorf, pirlo, gattuso and ambrosini for when they leave, we got a player probabaly older than all of them put together.
They did this with thiago silva, extending his contract and then selling him for a higher price, maybe its the same case for zapata. Because of his extension you can ask more money for him. I hope thats the case, if not im only happy if he becomes a back up CB
I think we should keep Vergara and actually use him. he has a lot of potential IMO and would be awesome to see him start with Romagnoli and watch him and Romagnoli develop

Zapata is not the worst player in the team. This only show that the Barlesconi family will invest much this season. I don't think the sale of Milan will ever take place. Rumors will go on like last season, Barlesconis think this will keep the players calm. We will witness another shity season.
