I will try to explain at the best of my abilities:
– First of all, one of the agreements for the takeover was that the debts would be paid off
– Second of all, most of the players bought from Milan are either loans with obligation to buy (Kessie and Borini) or the payment to the club will be spread over a total number of transfer windows, if I remember correctly Porto will receive the money for Andre Silva over 4 transfer windows (8,5ml per transfer window)
– Of course now we are in debt, but the projected earnings for season 2017/18 are expected to be 275m
– Just a stat from this morning, yesterday Milan opened the sale for season tickets, in 1 day they sold 10 times more season tickets than any of the previous years. So things are looking good for now.
