At 34 years of age, Franco Baresi’s dream of winning the World Cup as captain lay in tatters as he limped off the field against Norway in the first round with a knee-injury. Surgery was needed. Sacchi is remembered as a magician but I can tell you, with that AC Milan squad I would have won just as much, and at USA 94 an average football Coach would have brought the Cup to Italy.

man the fact that they lost this game is just heartbreaking. i usually dont feel all that bad for a team or player if they loose an important match but seein him loose the game after giving 150% all the way through just feels wrong
