Milan are about eating crumbs in Central Park.
Great show guys. This is turning out to be different serie a season. Juve has a lot to prove because Inter is playing well. It looks like it's going to be a two horse race to the end. Sorry Antonio.
Was first sceptical but then fully convinced after 5 seconds 😀 BONAVENTURA!!
Sacking giampaolo will be another idiotic move from milan.
There are multiple dimensions to the situation at Milan (my apologies for the lengthy text in advance).
1. Giampaolo is a solid coach who isn't able to put his own system to work, but is instead being forced to implement a 433 largely because the likes of Suso and Kessie can't play in a 4312. This alone is killing him!
2. Certainly the worst start by a Milan side, and I've been a devoted fan since 1987. First in red/yellow cards and dispossesions, dead last in shots on target, and only one goal from live play.
3. Giampaolo's two main weaknesses are his lack of emphasis on character/player management and failing to implement his best talent in a timely manner.
4. Donnarumma needs to go, pronto! He solely cost Milan 3 games/wins last year and the point difference between 3 and 5th was 1 point. More recently, he cost Milan the game at Torino. Not a fan of Calabria (his lack of skill and lack of defensive ability in the last third are apparent), Calhanoglu (love his work rate but his lack of balance and composure and inconsistency make him hard to watch) and Piatek (total lack of intelligence and skill makes him incompatible with Giampaolo's system)
5. In order for Milan to get back to former glory and compete with the likes of Real, Barca etc., the society needs to be acquired by a permanent ownership with the capacity to invest in world class calibre while developing the academy; the club needs to realize it's full financial potential via new stadium, greater volume of sponsors and obviously becoming a regular on the CL circuit once again. As far as Rino is concerned, he may be able to stabilize this team in the meantime but isn't a long term solution, let's be real.
To close, big time players and coaches don't just come to a team by reverse osmosis. The club needs to create a sustainable environment which will attract them!
P.S. Speaking foremostly as a soccer fan but also as a former player and now licensed coach, it was/is absolutely realistic to expect Milan to reach 4th before the start of this season. They were 1pt away from clinching a CL spot last year and they have an improved and deeper squad now (on paper).
To all AC Milan fans, I know its bad, but it could worse! You are world beaters compared to Man Utd!
Pochetinho is getting sacked soon get the man for the love of god
Bonaventura should be playing regularly for Milan. I can not understand why Giampaolo should be keeping Paqueta out. Paqueta is a very good technical player who's capable of distributing dangerous passes to the strikers . Leao should take responsibilty of the attache . Leao is better than Piantek. Leao is player who can take responsibilities if need be. Leao has the same qualities as Eto , Shevchenko, kaka , weah etc. Suso,Biglia, musacchio and Hakan Çalhanoğlu are the basic cause of ac Milan problems . They should be dropped with immediate effect . Duarte should be in defence with Romagnoli
GIAMPAOLO OUT
